About Us
We are challenging our associates, friends, colleagues and peers to find buildings that they can purchase and commit to being housing that is affordable for the area's workforce.
We understand the need for everyone in our community to have a home of their own. We endeavor to empower and assist our tenants, on all levels, toward home ownership. We want to "teach them to fish."
We help tenants utilize programs available through the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority (NHHFA), The Maine State Housing Authority, The Housing Partnership, Rockingham County Community Action Program, Strafford County Community Action Program, York County Community Action Program and the Workforce Housing Coalition. This programs may include down payment assistance programs, Individual Development Accounts, rental assistance programs, low cost first mortgages, second mortgages and assistance with reduced closing costs.
We will encourage and advise whenever appropriate, we will present educational opportunities and referrals to professionals who can help each tenant achieve home ownership . We envision our buildings to be "homeowner incubators" with a goal of moving residents through our rental units and into homes of their own within five to eight years.
We know that we can make a difference in the, sometimes, overwhelming area of workforce housing. We are committed to the success of our tenants. We challenge our peers across the country to step up and "Teach a Man to Fish" in their own community. We would be pleased to share our formation documents and Corporate aspiration statements with you.
